The Mule, 80-year-old Earl Stone, a broke, lonely man on the verge of losing his job. He reluctantly accepts a job offer that only requires him to drive a car, unaware that he will be working as a drug courier for the Mexican cartel. Surprisingly, Earl excels at his courier job and the cartel starts giving him more assignments. However, Earl soon catches the attention of ambitious narcotics agent Colin Bates.
